We ask for a one-time donation from parents to help fund all of our wonderful programs.  This donation, or "pledge" is fully tax-deductible, and it all goes to the kids.  We ask for $180 per student.  (Just $1 per day, per child!)  It can be taken out of your checking account monthly, spreading out the cost over the 10 months of the school year.  Donate now securely through PayPal!

Our Mission: (per bylaws)  

The Twin Hills Apple Blossom Educational Foundation (THABEF) welcomes you to the 2017/2018 school year. Together, let's make it a great one for our kids!


We are an all volunteer parent group that raises money to supplement our children's education through enrichment programs provided at both Apple Blossom and Twin Hills Middle School.

THABEF is committed to helping support enrichment programs at both schools by making an annual contribution to the district of $35,000. These programs include: 

Apple Blossom: Art, Music, Zumba!, Storytelling, Garden. 

Twin Hills: Art, Music, PE, Spanish, Culinary Arts, Video Editing and more.

In addition to this amount (and as funds allow), the foundation helps support our 5th grader week long trip to PEEC (Pacific Environmental Conservation Center) and we also supply teacher grants for specific items requested. In the  past these items have included overhead cameras in all grade1-8 classrooms, listening centers for kindergarten, musical instruments, classroom sets of novels, video cameras, iPads, Chromebooks, playground equipment and much, much more!


In order to do this, we ask for an annual donation from families (parents, grandparents, etc.) of $180 per child in the district (just $1 /day) This is not required but strongly encouraged, and can be made all at once or on a monthly basis. If this amount will not work for you, please don't feel bad, but rather give what feels is doable for you. We ask that those that are financially able to be as generous as possible. Any amount helps.


So everyone can see where the money raised by the foundation comes from (parent donation, fundraisers) AND to track the percentage of families that donated, we have installed thermometers on both campuses as a visual reminder that it takes hard work and participation to be successful. Our goal is to have 100% family participation in support of our fundraising programs.
